Piper the Dog needs a home
Piper is a 6 month old Labradoodle mix. Her mother was a doodle, her father is unknown. He was a small dog as Piper weighs just 20 pounds. Her coat does shed like a Labrador.
Piper has lived as a house dog and is house trained. She has also gone through training classes and knows her basic commands. That being said, if she decides that she'd rather explore her surroundings rather than come back as called. . . . well she still needs work on her re-call.
Piper has energy to burn. If you love the Lab energy but need a small dog, Piper may be the dog for you. She could be an excellent agility prospect. Would enjoy hiking, dog beach, or a jogging buddy.
She does wonderful with kids and actually prefers kids to adults. Piper is shy initially and is very independent, a loner of sorts and is happy laying across the room from you. Not the least bit needy or interested in being a lap pet.
Piper loves other dogs, being a great option for a multi-dog home.
A beautiful little Lab mix in need of a family who is looking for that (active) reserved dog in a small body.
